CRAFTS

CRAFT – SPIRALS FOR THE WINDOWS on Zoom

Children create a metal spiral and decorate it with coloured beads. A pretty decoration for windows.

First, participants create a spinning top with different-coloured sides. Then they use it in a game they invent: each colour matches cards telling you to do a specific activity or move.

READ TO A DOG on Zoom

Children who struggle with reading can read to a certified therapy dog weekly for 15 minutes to boost self-esteem and become more literate. Parents are nearby, but out of sight for optimal interaction with the child. An employee of the children’s section oversees the session.
