Meet Maria Korab-Laskowska, a photographer whose work reflects the deep connection between First Nations culture and the inspiration of nature. Her photographic expedition explores unspoiled national and provincial parks and is accompanied by hauntingly beautiful music, stories, and songs.

MINI-PAL LECTURE SERIES : TRANSITIONS IN PALLIATIVE CARE with Rose De Angelis, N, MSc (A), CHPCN (C)

This session will cover the various physical, medical, and emotional transitions that people go through when they are living with a life-limiting illness. We will compare the differences in receiving care in the home, in a hospital, on a specialty palliative care ward and in a residential hospice. Family caregivers will receive practical tips on how to help their loved ones.

HOLIDAY WREATH with Debbie Smith

Participants will learn a new technique using decorative polymesh ribbon to create a vibrant holiday wreath. A model of the wreath will be displayed at the Central Library on November 5.

Bring your scissors and an apron to protect your clothing. Materials supplied.
