LIJING IN CANADA

A pediatrician in China, Lijing Xu moved to Pointe-Claire 21 years ago. She has worked as a research fellow at McGill and a research biologist at Merck Frosst. The author will present her book which describes her experiences adjusting to a new community, falling in love with the natural beauty of the country, and her efforts helping other Chinese immigrants and students who are also adapting to a new life.
