The MUHC Women’s Healthy Heart Initiative (WHHI) focuses on women’s risk of heart disease, the cause of death of one in four women. This conference will discuss modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors, how to diagnose and manage these risk factors with an emphasis on a healthier lifestyle, and heart attack and stroke symptoms in women.

MINI-PAL LECTURE SERIES : The Many Faces of Palliative Care: Amazing Stories at the End of Life with Rose De Angelis, N, MSc (A), CHPCN (C)

The West Island Palliative Care Residence is delighted to launch its lecture series. Taught by a healthcare professional, each lecture provides useful information for anyone who is just interested in learning more, for those who are caregivers of a loved one, or for anyone who wishes to give emotional or practical support to a relative or friend who is a caregiver.
