Violence, sexuality, homosexuality, inappropriate language, etc. there are plenty of reasons to challenge or ban a book from the library’s shelves; here in Quebec or around the world. Come to the Library and find out why these books and so many more offended some readers.

  1. Ohhhh , I like. I must go to the library. I find since I have an ereader, I don’t go to the library as often as I used to. As for Violence, sexuality, homosexuality, inappropriate language, ummmmm I guess the powers that be haven’t read too many romance/erotica books that one can find in a library. Also, don’t they know the more they ban or forbid a book, the more people will want to read it.
