Frederic Bohbot visited the library during “Les Journées de la Culture” festivities to speak about his Academy award winning film “The Lady in Number 6: Music Saved My Life”. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny Saturday – yet the room was packed. After the event, people were leaving the library appearing deeply moved by the experience. Not only did the film charm and inspire, but Frederic added fascinating anecdotes about his encounters with Alice. He followed this warm tribute by donating a selection of documentary DVDs created by Bunbury Films (his film company) to the library. What a purely delightful afternoon!
For those unable to attend the film screening and discussion, the library has 2 copies of the DVD. Very highly recommended.
