Travel with your library – the end of the world is next door

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESYou don’t need to go to the end of the world to make your Pointe-Claire’s library card travel… you only need to go to the other end of the Montreal Island… to the Botanical Garden !

Where did you go this summer ?

  1. Hello Katya,

I lived The Summer of The Paradox: mine was the summer about moving, without moving!

While I “stay-cationed” in Pointe-Claire, I spent most of this summer preparing and then helping my eldest son to move from home (to Pointe-Claire Village), while also helping my youngest son to prepare his move to London, England (he leaves on September 15th to begin a masters degree at LAMDA).

It seems impossible that such a sedentary summer should have left me feeling such motion sickness, but there you go!

However, I have at least planted the seeds for a trip to England some time in 2015. 🙂

As we say in French: Ce n’est que partie remise.

  2. I can relate since our stay-cation focused on helping our grandchildren relocate to Montreal from Dubai via a few months in Toronto. The Pointe-Claire library’s summer activities for children were a great help in getting the children settled before school started. They developed a love for our wonderful library, made new friends and gained confidence about relocating to Montreal.
