Lynn Coady wins the 2013 Giller Prize for Hellgoing

HellgoingCanada’s most prestigious literary prize was won last night by Edmonton’s Lynn Coady for her short story collection “Hellgoing”.

It is certainly a good year for the genre of Canadian short stories. Alice Munro was honoured recently by being awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature for her body of work.

Copies of the book can be found in both print format SC/Fic/C6518  and in digital format at eMedia Download Library

(Please excuse my earlier incomplete post about the 2013 Giller Prize winner. I have resolved to forego my mobile devices and to only use a computer when updating this site!)
